The Muat Patrusi calendar is a (recent) invention of south-african supporters of the United Africa (it is my interpretation).

This calendar begins at the end of the last glaciation which marks (maybe) the beginning of a real human culture (?!?!).

This origin justifies the 'a bit high' year in relation to our more usual calendars.

The calendar has 12 months the normal years and 13 the leap years spread over a 19 years cycle (more or less like in the muslim calendar).

The designer of this calendar seems to come from the 'Patrusi international movement' Ma-Sunda. Patrusi, comes from Pa-Ta-Rusi signifying roughly 'the country of south', which seems to be one of the first empire created in Africa (in Egypt) : the new Kami kingdom (Upper Kamit) unifying 22 nations, probably not really recently.
